STITCHING MEMORIES: KPGT THEATRE FESTIVAL REIMAGINED
The design proposal aims to revive KPGT Theatre, rekindled through a reimagined summer theater festival that takes places in the heart of Cuckarica, Belgrade. Set in the industrial complex, this festival offers a unique experience, drawing visitors to unravel the transformation of the historical site into a thriving cultural hub. Comprised of workshop spaces, visitors can interact with the costume design process. Travel through KPGT Theatre rich tapestry, exhibited through iconic garments from previous productions and collaborations. In the mornings, nostalgia fills the festival with traditional Yugoslavian dishes, bringing a sense of diversity and celebration. As the sun sets, the market stalls turn into an extended seating area, bringing theatrical performances that resonate back to the golden era of KPGT Theatre.
